Duties

  • Draft and review standard and sophisticated estate planning documents.
  • Engage in domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning, with an opportunity to delve into international estate tax planning.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and co-advisors, maintaining productive relationships.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support clients' needs.
  • Contribute to a supportive team environment that encourages unique viewpoints and ideas.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant legal experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in estate planning and tax-related matters.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and analytical skills, supported by a robust academic background.
  • LLM is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to be barred in Washington, DC.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in Washington, DC, or eligibility to become barred.
