Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients on their rights and prepare legal documents related to their cases.
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings, advising them on strategies post-hearing.
• Manage court appearances, draft motions, interview witnesses, and conduct legal research.
• Analyze cases by applying legal precedents to anticipate potential outcomes.
• Organize and manage case workloads efficiently.
• Offer legal analysis to clients, evaluating possible case benefits.
• Gather additional evidence to support client defenses or counter-prosecution claims.
• Prepare clients for depositions, develop case strategies, and gather information from witnesses and experts to support the case.

Requirements:

• Experience in handling complex criminal cases across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• A collaborative team player, open to strategizing and assisting fellow associates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admitted to practice law in California.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar license.

Skills:

• Expertise in criminal defense law and case management.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage client relations and communicate legal strategies.
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
