Job Overview

A law firm seeks a service-oriented General Practice Attorney to support clients across multiple states through a unique legal services plan. This position offers the opportunity to assist a diverse community of individuals, families, and small businesses who may not have access to traditional legal representation. Duties

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients during phone consultations, addressing a wide range of legal issues
  • Review and assess legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research to answer client inquiries and provide informed recommendations
  • Offer limited-scope representation, assisting clients with resolving legal matters without full litigation involvement
  • Handle legal concerns across multiple practice areas, adapting quickly to varying client needs
  • Communicate with clients in a clear, compassionate, and solution-focused manner
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure comprehensive service and high-quality client experience
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of client interactions and legal advice provided

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in at least one of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Montana
  • Strong commitment to client service and improving access to affordable legal assistance
  • Ability to handle a wide range of legal matters, with a flexible and adaptable mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills, particularly when explaining legal concepts to non-lawyers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities across diverse legal topics
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple client inquiries
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote or hybrid team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications
