Insurance Defense Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced and dedicated Insurance Defense Attorney to join a dynamic legal team in San Antonio, TX. This full-time, remote opportunity is ideal for an individual with over 7 years of experience in insurance defense, specializing in bodily injury defense, construction defect, and related matters. The attorney will play a key role in managing civil litigation cases, including taking depositions, attending hearings, and negotiating settlements. Duties:

• Handle civil litigation cases related to insurance defense, focusing on bodily injury defense, construction defects, and other insurance matters.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in oral arguments.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on case strategy and potential outcomes.
• Manage all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial preparation to trial.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and ensure their needs are met promptly.
• Provide legal guidance and strategic advice in complex cases.
• Collaborate with team members to build effective legal strategies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on bodily injury and construction defect cases.
• Proven ability to handle complex civil cases and see them through trial.
• Experience in taking depositions, arguing motions, and negotiating settlements.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to case management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
• Strong client management skills and a commitment to delivering results.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (Texas Bar in Good Standing).
