Job Overview: A well-established law firm in their search for a mid-level leasing attorney with experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions, supporting clients across a range of industries and property types. This role is available in multiple locations across the U.S., and offers a flexible work environment with hybrid opportunities.

Duties:

  • Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial leases and related documents (term sheets, letters of intent, SNDAs, etc.).
  • Interact directly with clients, brokers, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.
  • Provide counsel on lease agreements across different property types, including office, retail, industrial, and life science.
  • Represent landlords in substantial commercial leasing transactions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader real estate practice group.
  • Manage multiple lease agreements and real estate projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial leasing.
  • Strong familiarity with market terms and conditions for various lease types.
  • Experience representing landlords in negotiations and agreements.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state where you are applying.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction of the applied office.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of the commercial leasing market, including nuances in different lease types.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills for lease-related agreements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to quickly grasp clients’ business goals and produce efficient, high-quality work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and strong business judgment.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $160,000 - $250,000 (depending on location and experience).
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
