Mid-level Tax Transactional Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a mid-level tax associate with 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate and partnership taxation. This role will focus on transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, and fund formation. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding academic credentials, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Duties

• Handle tax-related issues associated with corporate and partnership transactions.
• Engage in various transactional activities, such as mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, and joint ventures.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and analysis on tax implications related to transactions.
• Draft and review legal documentation, including contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver strategic tax planning and advice.
• Stay informed about evolving tax regulations to ensure accurate guidance in all transactional matters.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in tax law, particularly in corporate and partnership transactions.
• Proven experience in managing complex transactions and developing effective tax strategies.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance, particularly in tax-related courses.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in TX.
