Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Austin, TX, is seeking a Corporate Debt Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its team. The ideal candidate will negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions. Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.

Duties:

• Negotiate, structure, and document debt finance transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to debt finance matters.
• Draft legal documents, including loan agreements, security, and closing documents.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate debt finance.
• Familiarity with negotiating, structuring, and documenting debt finance transactions.
• Experience representing private equity sponsors or lenders in leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing transactions is preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Prior experience in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Must have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school (classes 2019, 2020, or 2021).
• Admission to the State Bar of TX.
