Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Albany, NY, is seeking a motivated Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle complex disputes, utilizing their strong legal skills to support our diverse clientele.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various stages of litigation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery practice, focusing on e-discovery.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and contracts.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and manage cases effectively.
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of federal and state civil procedure rules.
• Excellent academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Exceptional communication and client service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
