Position Title: Litigation Associate Attorney (Writs)

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with expertise in writs and municipal civil litigation for its Riverside, CA, office. The ideal candidate brings substantial experience, particularly in handling writs of mandate and land use litigation, and is prepared to independently manage complex cases. Duties:

• Handle litigation cases related to writs of mandate, municipal civil matters, and land use
• Conduct depositions, draft dispositive motions, and perform court filings
• Collaborate with other team members on case strategy and client objectives
• Participate actively in case management and procedural motions
• Perform legal research and analysis on complex issues relevant to public and private sectors

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience
• Demonstrated expertise in writs of mandate, municipal litigation, and land use litigation
• Experience in taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and independently handling cases

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active admission to the California State Bar
