A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Albuquerque, NM location.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney position is open to recent law school graduates pending bar exam results, as well as candidates with 3+ years of experience. This role will involve assisting with various legal matters under the supervision of senior attorneys.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on assigned cases.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in depositions and witness interviews.
• Handle administrative tasks related to case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Pending bar exam results for recent law school graduates.
• Admission to the New Mexico State Bar for experienced candidates.
• 3+ years of legal experience for experienced candidates.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
