A law firm seeks a highly skilled Senior Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Denver. Duties

  • Lead and contribute to employment litigation matters from initiation to resolution.
  • Respond to pleadings, manage discovery, and draft/revise key legal documents.
  • Take depositions, argue motions, and represent clients in mediations and hearings.
  • Collaborate with clients on day-to-day legal issues related to employment laws.
  • Assist clients with creating, revising, and maintaining employee handbooks and training materials.
  • Maintain a fast-paced workload while managing multiple ongoing cases and projects.
  • Provide guidance and strategic advice to clients on various employment law matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in employment litigation, with a proven track record in managing complex cases.
  • Strong academic background, with excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative setting.
  • Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in hearings and mediations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Colorado Bar (required).
