Lateral Associate Attorney with experience in commercial litigation

The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling discovery, depositions, pleadings, and document review, with a preference for courtroom experience. Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on commercial litigation matters.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, and production.
• Take and defend depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and other court proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client matters.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility to promptly obtain admission.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
