A renowned law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Private Wealth Services Associate Attorney to join its Private Wealth Services Practice in Fort Lauderdale. This role involves providing specialized legal counsel in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Duties

• Assist clients with estate planning, including wills, trusts, and other wealth transfer strategies.
• Provide legal advice on trust and estate administration.
• Counsel clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.
• Conduct thorough research and prepare written documents for client consultations and transactions.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to deliver integrated income and transfer tax advice.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Previous law firm experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred.
• Admission to practice law in the state of Florida.
