This role is ideal for an attorney with 4-8 years of litigation experience, particularly in the area of medical malpractice. The firm is looking for an individual with a strong academic background, exceptional written and oral advocacy abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality legal representation to clients. Judicial clerkship experience is considered a plus.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in medical malpractice litigation matters.
  • Handle a caseload of professional liability cases, including pre-litigation and post-litigation phases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive legal documents.
  • Manage discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, providing support to senior attorneys.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
  • Advocate for clients in court, including motions, hearings, and trial proceedings.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop case strategies and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in training, continuing legal education (CLE), and mentorship programs.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in professional liability and medical malpractice litigation.
  • Strong academic background with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues, demonstrating sound judgment and attention to detail.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in Pennsylvania.
