A law firm in Wilmington is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring Associate Attorney with a strong academic background and superior writing and research skills. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 or more years of sophisticated commercial bankruptcy practice, encompassing both litigation and transactional experience and must hold Bar admission.

 

Duties:

  • Handle complex commercial bankruptcy matters, including both litigation and transactional aspects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to business reorganization and financial restructuring.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and transactional agreements.
  • Represent clients in bankruptcy court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients facing financial challenges.

 

Requirements:

  • Stellar academic record with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Should have State Bar admission.

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 or more years of experience in sophisticated commercial bankruptcy practice.
  • Proven track record in handling both litigation and transactional aspects of business reorganization and financial restructuring.

 

Skills:

  • Superior writing and research skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of bankruptcy laws and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
