Duties and Responsibilities:

• Case Evaluation & Strategy Development: Assess new cases to formulate action plans, create budgets, and provide actionable legal advice.
• Discovery Management: Oversee and manage discovery requests, responses, and document production.
• Legal Research & Pleading Preparation: Conduct detailed legal research and prepare necessary pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Court Appearances: Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed, providing accurate reports to the team.
• Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients, providing updates and strategic counsel.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to delegate tasks and ensure case progress.
• Negotiation & Settlement: Handle negotiations, seek settlement approval, and prepare for trial if necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Ability to handle complex legal matters independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new software and systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Georgia State Bar or ability to obtain.
