A law firm in Columbia is seeking a Junior Partner Attorney to serve a wide range of high-impact tasks, including taking depositions, managing a caseload and staff, conducting trials and appeals independently, and staying informed about evolving legal landscapes. The candidate will also be responsible for drafting research articles, delivering educational presentations to clients, and participating in other client-oriented activities. Proficiency in crafting persuasive arguments, uncovering critical legal insights and evidence, and a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school are essential. Preference will be given to attorneys with prior experience in Workers’ Compensation law and those who bring forth their own base of clients. Duties:

  • Take depositions, manage a caseload and staff, and conduct trials and appeals independently.
  • Maintain a profound understanding of evolving legal landscapes.
  • Draft concise research articles for the firm's client newsletter.
  • Deliver educational presentations to clients.
  • Actively participate in other client-oriented activities.
  • Craft persuasive arguments, both in writing and speech.
  • Uncover critical legal insights and evidence.

 

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
  • Preference is given to attorneys with prior experience in Workers’ Compensation law.
  • Preference is given to attorneys who bring forth their own base of clients.
