This role involves writing demands, negotiating claims, responding to discovery, conducting depositions, and making court appearances. Strong research skills, top-quality writing abilities, and a professional demeanor are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 150 Workers' Compensation cases.
  • Draft and negotiate settlement demands and agreements.
  • Respond to discovery requests and participate in discovery-related activities.
  • Conduct depositions of clients, medical professionals, and expert witnesses.
  • Represent clients at hearings and other court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with Legal Assistants to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed case records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Georgia Bar (active and in good standing).
  • 0-3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation law.
  • Strong academic credentials with top-quality writing skills.
  • Professionalism, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
