Job Overview: A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking an Attorney with solid experience in real estate finance law, particularly in large structured commercial real estate finance transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, 5+ years of relevant experience, and exceptional communication and writing skills.

Duties:

• Handle real estate finance matters for the firm's clients.
• Run transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Manage large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Provide asset management and workout experience as necessary.
• Execute secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements:

• High level of academic achievement.
• 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law.
• Experience in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Proficiency in asset management and workout experience.
• Capability in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Washington State Bar (active and in good standing).
