Job Overview:
A respected law firm located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a skilled and experienced Foreclosure Attorney to join its growing team. This firm provides comprehensive legal services to the default servicing industry across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. The position offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex foreclosure matters in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, with the chance to collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.

Duties:

  • Draft and review legal pleadings related to foreclosure proceedings
  • Represent clients in court hearings throughout the Cincinnati area
  • Manage all aspects of the foreclosure process in a fast-paced environment
  • Support clients in real estate and title-related matters
  • Maintain up-to-date case files and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Engage with clients and provide legal guidance on foreclosure issues
  • Work effectively within a team to meet case deadlines and objectives

Requirements:

  • Active and good standing with the Ohio and/or Kentucky Bar
  • At least 5 years of experience in creditor's rights and/or foreclosure law
  • Experience with real estate and title work
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must hold a current license to practice law in Ohio and/or Kentucky
  • Additional licenses in Indiana and/or West Virginia are a plus

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of foreclosure processes and creditor's rights
  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities
  • Effective negotiation and litigation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong case management skills
  • Ability to adapt to new legal technologies and tools
