Duties:

  • Represent management in labor-related disputes, including NLRB proceedings, union elections, and representation hearings.
  • Provide strategic counsel on grievances, arbitrations, and labor relations.
  • Lead and support collective bargaining negotiations and related contract matters.
  • Advocate for clients in various labor disputes and contractual negotiations.
  • Assist clients in developing strategies to foster positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
  • Draft and review legal documents including labor contracts, arbitration decisions, and compliance reports.
  • Present oral arguments in labor-related arbitration proceedings.
  • Ensure clients remain compliant with both federal and state labor laws.
  • Offer legal counsel on a broad range of labor law topics, from union management to workplace policies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in labor law, particularly in managing labor relations or experience at the NLRB.
  • Proficient in handling NLRB proceedings, grievance arbitrations, union elections, and collective bargaining.
  • Strong advocacy skills with the ability to present clear and compelling oral arguments.
  • Excellent writing abilities for drafting legal documents and research papers.
  • Solid experience in managing labor disputes and negotiations effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active law license in the state of Missouri or eligibility to be admitted to the Missouri bar.
