Job Overview: A law firm in Saint Louis, MO, seeks a dedicated and skilled Civil Litigation Associate Attorney. Duties:

• Collaborate with experienced litigation attorneys to prepare evidence, documents, and presentations for trial.
• Handle depositions, mediations, and conferences between claimants and judges.
• Represent clients in court appearances and manage courtroom procedures.
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Manage large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with corporate professionals and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in the legal field, focusing on civil litigation.
• Working knowledge of state and federal laws and procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle large caseloads and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent negotiation skills and commitment to high-performance standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with corporate professionals.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
• Ability to become licensed in Illinois, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska.
