This role is perfect for a Kentucky-licensed attorney with a passion for courtroom litigation and family law, who also possesses a desire to help grow the firm’s probate and business law practices. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively represent clients while maintaining a supportive and collaborative atmosphere within the team.

Key Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal matters, including family law, probate, and business law cases.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective legal work while collaborating with team members.
• Draft compelling legal arguments, discovery responses, motions, and pleadings.
• Provide legal and emotional support to clients, especially in high-stress situations.
• Participate in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and negotiations, offering a strategic approach in all scenarios.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm’s probate and business law practices.
• Stay involved in the local legal community and professionally represent the firm.

Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky law license in good standing.
• 5-10 years of active litigation experience, particularly in courtrooms.
• Strong understanding of Kentucky's rules of evidence and civil rules.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to manage cases independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage client crises with a calm demeanor.
• Strong commitment to community involvement.
• Experience in family law is preferred.
• An existing book of business is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
