Duties:

• Handle defense of wage and hour litigation, particularly focusing on class actions.
• Apply extensive knowledge of California and federal wage and hour laws, including overtime and meal/rest period regulations.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery in wage and hour cases with minimal supervision.
• Lead depositions and manage motion practice related to discovery issues.
• Develop and execute comprehensive discovery plans.
• Draft and oppose motions for class certification in wage and hour litigation.
• Engage with clients, providing clear communication on legal strategies and progress.
• Maintain consistent and professional follow-through in all aspects of case management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience handling wage and hour litigation, with a preference for class action defense.
• In-depth knowledge of California and federal wage and hour laws.
• Demonstrated experience preparing discovery and managing responses with limited oversight.
• Proven experience with depositions and discovery-related motions.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Certifications:

• California State Bar License in good standing.
