Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle cases involving Defense Base Act claims. Duties:

• Manage a docket of Defense Base Act claims, providing detailed legal analysis and drafting petitions.
• Review, analyze, and summarize various claims documents, including medical records, incident reports, and employment files.
• Prepare regular client reports and ensure timely communication with clients regarding case updates.
• Participate in Department of Labor conferences to resolve issues related to claims.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions, and make court appearances as needed.
• Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys to ensure high-quality client service and case resolution.

Requirements:

Education:
