Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Manage a docket of Defense Base Act claims, providing detailed legal analysis and drafting petitions.

  • Prepare regular client reports and ensure timely communication with clients regarding case updates.
  • Participate in Department of Labor conferences to resolve issues related to claims.
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions, and make court appearances as needed.
  • Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys to ensure high-quality client service and case resolution.

Requirements:
