Job Overview: A well-established law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join its expanding legal team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role will involve managing personal injury cases from consultation through trial, with a focus on providing exceptional legal representation. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success in personal injury litigation, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to guide clients through every stage of their case.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including auto accidents, premises liability, and more.
  • Handle all aspects of personal injury cases, including pre-suit processes and litigation.
  • Manage the legal process from case initiation, discovery, and pre-trial motions to trial and post-trial activities.
  • Draft and file necessary legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, and motions.
  • Engage with expert witnesses for consultations, report drafting, and affidavit preparation.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Negotiate settlements while maintaining a trial-ready approach to every case.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Ohio Bar.
  • At least 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with proven trial experience.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.

Skills:

  • Strong client service and communication skills, with a focus on client-first representation.
  • Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of cases effectively.
