Duties

• Represent corporate clients in civil litigation matters in state and federal courts

• Handle litigation involving property damage claims and related legal issues

• Conduct legal investigations in collaboration with forensic experts

• Evaluate legal and financial viability of potential causes of action

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal briefs

• Attend and present at court hearings, including dispositive motions

• Take and defend depositions

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams throughout the litigation process

• Manage case files and litigation strategies effectively in both individual and multi-party actions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience

• Demonstrated experience in property damage or subrogation litigation preferred

• Strong knowledge of Texas procedural law

• Must be currently licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

• Ability to manage multiple litigation files in a fast-paced legal environment

• Comfortable collaborating with expert witnesses and legal professionals across disciplines

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas (required)
