Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases before federal and state courts.
• Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support litigation strategies.
• Manage case files and ensure adherence to deadlines and court schedules.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and pre-trial discovery processes.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver compelling arguments in court.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal trends and changes in the law.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent legal advocacy and writing skills.
• Federal court experience is preferred.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• New York Bar license is required.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
