Personal Injury Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking experienced Personal Injury Attorneys to join its growing team. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, advocating for individuals who have suffered personal injuries. Attorneys will represent clients in various personal injury cases, including product liability and premises liability, and will have the chance to develop trial skills with training and mentorship.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Represent clients in negotiations and mediations for product liability, premises liability, and personal injury cases
• Take and defend expert depositions
• Draft opposition to Motions for Summary Judgment
• Respond to and propound discovery
• Draft summons and complaints
• Prepare motions, including Motions to Compel, Motions to Quash, and Motions in Limine
• Opportunity for trial training and to gain trial experience if desired
• Willingness to learn and handle trial cases

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in personal injury law
• CA Bar admission with "active" status required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
• Federal court litigation and filing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe Pro, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active CA Bar License
