Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Tax Executive Compensation, Employment, And Benefits Associate Attorney with 5 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in company representation and compensation disclosure issues and a broad array of transactional executive compensation and benefits matters, including tax, securities, and other relevant laws.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on executive compensation, employment, and benefits matters to clients.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate executive compensation agreements, employment contracts, and benefit plans.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on tax implications, securities laws, and other relevant executive compensation and benefits regulations.
  • Assist clients in compliance with federal and state laws governing executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings related to executive compensation and benefits matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington, DC, Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws, securities regulations, and other relevant legal frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Washington, DC, Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:
