I liked the ease of the process! I appreciated that I got the updates for the positions and that I could just click on the link, I appreciated the reminders that helped keep me on task, and remind me to take 5 minutes to review the jobs. You guys were the only recruiters in all of my time as a legal professional that got me a job. Every other time, the recruiter didn't help or it became really clear that they weren't on my side. You guys were the only recruiters that ever worked for me. I would rank you guys #1.
Columbia University School of Law, Class Of 2008
Placed at Michelman & Robinson, LLPMy favorite thing about working with BCG Attorney Search and Harrison Barnes was the law firm recommendations as well as the list of law firms was really helpful. This made my job search easier because BCG Attorney Search submitted my resume to law firms that did not post their job openings.
Columbia University School of Law, Class Of 2018
Placed at Greenberg Traurig, L.L.PCarolina was a super recruiter. Because I am a recent JD graduate and I didn't get anything in OCI so I thought that I can't find any decent jobs after graduation and other recruiters also think so, So actually I reach out to other recruiters in other company's but once they found out that I am a recent graduate, they just lost their interest and they decided they didn't want to corporate with me, but Carolina also knew that it was a little hopeless for me to find a decent job, but she was still willing to try and it worked out well with a good job offer. BCG made my job search easier because I think Carolina can find the resources and connect me with the law firms because law firms have the need to recruit associates and I have the need to get a new job and she did a good job with connecting me with the law firm. If I want to find a job personally I don't know which firms are recruiting and I just do the mass mailing, and that way I get a lot of rejection letters but if she knows which firms are recruiting its easier for me so that at least I don't have to do the mass mailing. BCG Recruiting Firm was excellent to work with.

Placed at Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLPWhat where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Becca? How quickly everything went! I worked with a few other recruiters in the past and I didn't get very much traction. I had 1 or 2 interviews but I didn't really feel like I had any chance going in. Becca got me very very prepared for every question posed to me. I felt thoroughly prepared for each of my interviews. How did working with us make you job search easier? The network that BCG has. I had been searching pretty passively prior to being contacted by Becca. It is hard to find jobs in the legal field and you're on LinkedIn or wherever but it's still not a big network to get into. However with BCG, Becca was able to get me, I think, 3 interviews in the first week of working with her. Like I said, she also did a phenomenal job about getting me prepared for said interviews as opposed to the other recruiters I worked with. [With them] I felt like I was going into those interviews feeling okay but I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was and I didn't get a call back. Anything else? I really appreciated all of the work Becca did and she was always very easy to get in contact with. I enjoyed working with her so much that I have actually already referred 2 of my friends. Like I said, I have worked with a few other people [recruiting firms] and no one was able to get me results nearly as quickly so I am confident she will be able to help them like she was able to help me.
University of Wisconsin Law School, Class Of 2018
Placed at McGeady Becher P.C.Carolina was very responsive and had a great attitude. She was very encouraging but also realistic in working with me. She was very professional. She found a perfect match for me and for the firm that lined up with my experience and what I was looking for. There was a little bit of luck but she facilitated it. She identified the firm and it was a perfect match! I wish I had used a recruiter years ago. Carolina was awesome!

Placed at Alan Lescht & Associates, PCWhat where some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Carolina? Carolina really listened my experience and what I wanted from a new firm. She took into account what I had liked before and what I wasn't liking at my current job. She talked to me on a personal level that other recruiters didn't. She was able to understand me in a more personal way which really helped us work together and also helped her be motivated towards helping me. There were times when I would say "Oh, I thought this opportunity would be good for you" and we would talk about why I might not have felt the same. She was the best recruiter that I had worked with who really gave me an accurate view of the market. I really understood what I was getting into in the job search. How did working with us make you job search easier? It was nice to get the weekly and every other daily emails reminding me to look at the list and reordering it different ways. It was really making me explain why I didn't like the firm even if it is just that I didn't think I would fit in there. Whenever I told Carolina; for example, that I didn't like the reputation of a certain firm, she would just move on and really respected my choices. The reminders for BCG, though sometimes they could a little overwhelming because they were always popping up, were really helpful because they WERE always popping up and reminding me that I am working now but that I was still doing a job search too which also requires a lot of time and effort. Is there anything else you would like to add about your experience? A million times praise Carolina! She was so attentive to what I wanted and what I needed on a personal and emotional level.

Placed at Rolnick Kramer Sadighi LLPShe was very concerned with what I was looking for and she gave me realistic expectations about figure out what I was looking for in a new job. She also opened up a lot of jobs and positions that wouldn't have been available on my own. [The process was easier because] I had more job postings to look at and Carolina provided information on the firms that wasn't necessarily available online, so that was great.
Fordham University School of Law, Class Of 2018
Placed at Clarke Silverglate, PAWhat were some of your favorite things about working with BCG and Carolina? Extremely responsive. She was proactive in the sense of keeping up with me even if there wasn't anything new necessarily happening. She would reach out just to check in and let me know what she was doing. If I was having any issues she would talk me through it and send me BCG literature that was applicable to what I was going through. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's? At the top - I reached out to the recruiting firm I got my first job through and they dropped the ball and basically told me there was nothing out there with the pandemic going on. Carolina was consistently sending me new openings and advocating on my behalf.

Placed at Pietragallo Gordon Alfano Bosick & Raspanti, LLPI like how organized BCG was and the ease of access/use of the website. Becca was very responsive and knowledgeable about the market. Becca alerted me to opportunities I would have missed on my own, and she provided me with new postings every week or so. I trusted that nothing would be missed. Q. Where would we rank/compare to other recruiting companies you may have used? A. I worked with two other recruiters and BCG was a lot more communicative and helpful.

Placed at Hawkins & Parnell, LLP .My legal placement professional, specifically, was my favorite thing about working with BCG. She was very responsive, she knew a lot of useful tips especially for interviewing, and was just a great experience with following up on interviews and always being available to help prepare, it was a very positive experience. Being able to have a huge list of potential opportunities was a huge help and having someone who would submit to those was really useful. BCG is the top of my list of recruiters because of technology and responsiveness and diligence, you were the best I've worked with.
George Washington University Law School, Class Of 2008
Placed at Armstrong Teasdale LLPI had burned through a bunch of recruiters who, after there was an initial flurry of excitement kind of fizzled out. Then I wouldn't hear from them until I heard from them. I really liked how BCG and especially my legal placement professional, the one that helped me, were reliable; they checked in, I got weekly reports. I knew that even if I didn't have an opportunity that week, I was still in her thoughts. I felt like I was well taken care of throughout the whole process. It seemed like my legal placement professional and BCG in general understood the market better and knew which firms were likely to hire and which firms were a no go. It just made the whole process a lot less frustrating. I was actually getting interviews with firms [instead of just] not hearing back at all. Not every interview worked out, but it was nice. It felt like I was targeting firms intelligently with BCG. [BCG is] competent, dependable, reliable, friendly, and takes time to understand [my] needs and concerns. [I would rank BCG] highest and first [compared to other recruiting firms]. I would say if you are looking for a lateral law firm move in the Boston area you guys are the best. You seem like you understand what is going on the best and have the best customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you guys to anyone.
[BCG was] very professional. [You were] very insightful as far as preparing for interviews, [as] I got a lot of background information about the firms I was interviewing with. [You] placed me really quickly. I liked that. The person I was working with, my legal placement professional, was really helpful throughout the process. [You] made it a lot easier [and] basically took over my entire job search. I wasn't doing much else myself, other than my resume; I kind of relied on BCG. [You are] very professional. You guys [are] number one. You guys do really good work. You are professional, as I have stated a couple times, and easy to work with. You guys did a really good job.
Howard University School of Law, Class Of 2013
Placed at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLPSome of my favorite things about working with BCG Attorney Search include my legal placement professional, the representative that I worked with, as she was very responsive. She was very focused on what I wanted in a search and finding the opportunities that might fit what I wanted. Working with BCG Attorney Search made my job a lot easier because I didn't have to do the search myself. I did my job, so that was an enormous benefit for me because our schedules are not always conducive to doing a job search on our own. My legal placement professional made it manageable, and placed me in a job that I am very excited about. The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG Attorney Search are responsive, professional, and knowledgeable about the industry. That was an enormous asset as well. I chose you for a reason, because I talked to a couple of other firms that I had passed on. Speaking with my legal placement professional, she had a very strong knowledge and experience in the industry, and that definitely stood out to me. She was pretty diligent about the search. I ended up working with BCG, but I have friends who have worked with other recruiters who weren't very pleased. The other recruiters they worked with seemed very passive, where the recruiter submitted a resume once and that was the end of their experience. That was not my experience with BCG, in a good way. I would definitely recommend you guys to anyone I know who is looking for a recruiter, because I was extremely pleased with the service and the outcome. As for the process in general, I was impressed with how on top of things everyone was at BCG and how they monitor openings, finding ones that were suitable to my interests.
University of North Carolina School of Law, Class Of 2015
Placed at DLA Piper.I am writing to provide my unreserved praise of your recruiter, my legal placement professional. She reached out to me in response to an online submission through the BCG website and from our first interaction I was struck by her professionalism and thoughtfulness. Having taken a step out of the legal industry for several years, I was concerned that recruiters would have little interest in my resume. What others saw as an obstacle, she saw as an asset. Over the following weeks, She acted as a counselor, coach and cheerleader in her tireless efforts to find the perfect placement for me in the dynamic New York legal market. She looked at my experience with a careful eye and presented my work history to prospective employers in a truly compelling manner-resulting in multiple interviews at top tier firms. She worked with me directly to prepare for the interview process and gave practical advice on what to expect and how to respond to the situations and environments her clients confront during the interviewing process. She worked outside of the "normal channels" to get my resume and credentials in front of firms, even if those firms did not have any known openings. I was particular impressed that she connected me to other BCG recruiters across the country when I desired to broaden my search. During each of our interactions, it was clear to me that she genuinely cared about me and her other clients and was willing to help in any way possible to find the right next step. I look forward to recommending my legal placement professional to any colleagues in need of a recruiter and know that she will provide the same professional, personable and passionate service she provided to me. I would be happy to provide any additional information or to serve as a reference for any potential candidates-it would truly be my pleasure.
[My favorite thing about working with BCG was] the responsiveness. [Working with BCG] made it a whole lot easier, you made everything so you just click and say yep this works for me or nope this doesn't look good ... your staff is really great. Jessica and my legal placement professional, who I worked with, were very hands on, on top of it, [and] very responsive. [The three words that come to mind when I think about BCG are] professional, personal, and quality. [BCG is] the top [legal recruiter] that I've worked with, and I have worked with four more. If you are looking for an organization or recruiting firm that has the systems and processes down go to BCG.
Georgetown University Law Center, Class Of 2009
Placed at Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP.[Some of my favorite things about working with BCG & my legal placement professional as her] responsiveness and attentiveness. She was really good about sending me opportunities as they became available. The openings and firms that were sent to me were some that I wouldn't have likely found on my own. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend my legal placement professional.
BCG was very user friendly; the website was very easy and accepting. All ofthe different Q&A's on the website were very helpful. Working with my legal placement professional was fabulous - I couldn't have asked for anyone better! She was always thereto answer my questions. She was great about reaching out to firms that Ifound or she found. She was very proactive throughout everything. I alwayshad a lot of questions and she was always very willing to answer them so Iappreciated that. She never made me feel like I was bothering her even whenI was pestering her with repeat questions.I didn't have to do too much at all. It was nice that she streamlinedeverything for me. I was swamped at work and I really don't know how I wouldhave done it without someone helping me. It took it from something I didn'tknow how I would have done to something that was very easy. I reallyappreciate everything BCG did for me. It was a great process and I ended upat a firm that I absolutely love. It was all great!Samantha GerencirEmory University School of Law, Class of 2018Placed at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP
Emory University School of Law, Class Of 2018
Placed at Zuckerman Spaeder LLPMy legal placement professional made the process very simplified for me. She explained everything step by step and didn't get annoyed when I had silly or stupid questions, I really used her a lot throughout the process. She read through my writing sample, she wrote cover letters for me, anytime I would email back and forth with a law firm I would send the email to her and have her read it over first. She was really an invaluable resource for me. I really enjoyed working with her! She was holding my hand through every step. She was always available when I called or texted her, even when it was at night, which I really appreciated. I know I personally don't like being bothered by work stuff at all hours, but she didn't make me feel bad about reaching out to her. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you have used?A. I used a recruiting firm a few years ago but BCG and my legal placement professional were far more helpful than the other firm I used.
Harvard Law School, Class Of 2014
Placed at Roche Freedman LLPMy legal placement professional was extremely helpful and considerate of my time and the need to discreetly navigate this process around my current work schedule. She was incredibly responsive and candid in her responses. My legal placement professional was also very relatable, which made it easy to build rapport and work together with her. BCG allowed me to continue to focus on my work, while making background strides in my job search. It is difficult to search for a job while working full-time, and I don't think I would be anywhere near my current situation had it not been for BCG and my legal placement professional. In this current job search, I had exposure to other recruiters, and none of them were as helpful, responsive and genuine as my legal placement professional. Thanks again for everything BCG and my legal placement professional did in helping me to take this next step in my career and life!
Emory University School of Law, Class Of 2018
Placed at Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLPMy legal placement professional was very attentive, got back to me very quickly, and was very well organized. I also liked the free books online, which gave me interview tips and things like that. I have worked with several recruiters and some of them either wouldn't get back to me or it would take them forever, so her attentiveness and responsiveness was very good. BCG found several firms that had not listed job postings anywhere, but were looking, so probably the biggest factor was finding jobs that weren't listed or otherwise available.
My legal placement professional was very good at communicating and gave me honest advise and was very polite. I would not have found the firm that I just accepted the position with on my own. She also was able to help guide me through some of the logistics, since this is the first time doing what I am doing now, and I was just unfamiliar with a lot of the minor details of the process. BCG is ranked #1 for me.
I really appreciated the daily follow up and where things stand email every day. I thought that was really useful and helped me keep on top of things. I found her communication to be very clear so I was never confused by anything she said to me or wrote to me and I also really appreciated that she was willing to talk about the relative drawbacks about some of the places where I had offers. Some headhunters are like all these places are fantastic and you'll love them and it's not true, so I really appreciate honesty when weighing those types of offers and she may had heard things I hadn't heard, so that was really useful as well.Oh my gosh, I had been kind of marginally looking kind of half-heartedly but looking none the less for about 2 years and I had 2 offers within 4 weeks of working with my legal placement professional. This was such a great experience.
University of Virginia School of Law, Class Of 1989
Placed at Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker, PAOne of the best things about working with BCG is the access to law firms that BCG has. BCG seems to be working with a lot of the top tier law firms in the country. Very exciting for me that I got Associate. The other thing I really liked about working with BCG was working with my legal placement professional. She has been the person I have been in contact with, in terms of just working with BCG. She has been really great. There are a few things about working with BCG that made my job search easier. Just knowing which firms are looking. A lot of firms are not going to post things on job boards. They may just reach out to a search firm like BCG for help, so that was one of the things that made it easier for sure. Another thing that helped was getting advice, interview advice, and being able to walk through with my legal placement professional, just what the firms like to hear, what they don't like to hear, interview questions, thank you emails, things like that. BCG is one of the best legal recruiting firms.
University of Texas School of Law, Class Of 2015
Placed at Koss & Schonfeld, LLPSo I worked with my legal placement professional, and she was great. I had a friend who was looking for a firm at the same time as me and I feel like his recruiter was a little pushy with him and we both had specific goals, and wanted to transition in to a field of law that we are not in right now. I feel like my legal placement professional really listened to me in that respect and didn't try to push me toward any firm regardless of whether or not they had an active practice in the area of law that I would like to start practicing in. While my colleague who was working with a different recruiting firm had a very different experience where he felt like he was being pushed toward every and any firm and his recruiter wasn't really listening to what he wanted. I spoke with My legal placement professional and told her what my goals were and provided her with my resume and transcripts, and she kind of just took it from there. She reached out to the all firms that I said okay to. It was very easy and I didn't really have to do anything. I have worked with one other recruiting company at first, and BCG was much better!
University of Pennsylvania Law School, Class Of 2015
Placed at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLPOne thing I really enjoyed regarding BCG was the dashboard and their user friendly aspect of their website as far as applying to jobs and being able to be notified regularly through email about any job openings or postings and having the filtering aspect of the search process which was helpful. With Becca in particular, I thought she was extremely helpful regarding preparation for interviews, searching for jobs that I wouldn't have found myself that were applicable to my skills and requirements, size of firms, etc. I felt that she was so on top of everything and keeping in contact with me. One think I really enjoyed was her communication with me and keeping my search on track in terms of what we needed to do and making sure my resume was up to date. I can't state how helpful she was in getting me prepared and ready for the job interviews. BCG made the process easier in terms of organization and in searching for applicable jobs and firms that I would be interested in working at that were in my different areas of expertise. Preparing for the job interviews and assessing what I needed to do and what further contact, either Becca or I, should make to the hiring team. Having someone with knowledge on how to work with a private firm, especially for someone like myself that was coming from the nonprofit government / academic side of law. I really can't state enough how much Becca helped me and the material that BCG provided. Her constant communication and her being on top of everything when I needed her and being available, even on the weekend, was really appreciated.
Georgetown University Law Center, Class Of 2015
Placed at McDowell Rackner Gibson PCI really enjoyed the app and text messages. I didn't have to constantly check my email. If I got notifications from the app it was so much straighter forward of what I was going in to address and to stay up to date. It was great because she could sift through the positions I was eligible for and that my credentials fit with. It was nice to look and the firm and go to the posting and then decide. It just streamlined the process so much more than having the comb through job boards or LinkedIn.She was so on top of everything. There were times when there was a delay in the process and I was probably annoying her with my constant enthusiasm trying to get updates but she seemed like she understood that. She was great and it all went really well.Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's?A. I have used 2 or 3 and you are the best I used by far. It was nice to connect with a recruiter and firm that I meshed really well with.
I liked that BCG didn't push jobs on me that I either was not qualified for or didn't want, whereas other firms find an opening, they don't care what it is, they don't care who you are and they push you into it. I liked that the recruiter that I worked with at BCG was efficient, she was quick to get back to me so I never felt like she left something hanging or had forgotten, it was a good experience. Actually, not only did I get an interview and actually find a job thanks to you guys, but she definitely streamlined my job search. I had been all over the place before and you guys were able to suggest a couple of firms that were a good fit and get a couple of interviews that were good fits, so that definately helped focus my job search. BCG is by far the best. I was laid off about 2 and , months ago and had worked with at least 4 other recruiting agencies and had no success or had gotten interviews that were not a good fit and I started working with Jessica 2 weeks ago and I am starting a new job on Monday, the service speaks for itself really!

Placed at Cruser, Mitchell, Novitz, Sanchez, Gaston & Zimet, LLPBCG was very responsive and provided me the opportunities that I think were more specific to what I was actually looking for, than other recruiters and you guys had way more contacts and opportunities too. By finding the opportunities that I wouldn't have thought to contact and taking care of the initial reach out and cover letter and setting up the first interview was a huge help and also in negotiating my offer as well. I would say that BCG is the best, I am kindof biased because you helped me get the job.
University of Tennessee College of Law, Class Of 2015
Placed at Tydings & Rosenberg LLPI really appreciate that BCG kept me up to date on the openings and found those for me and tried to give me a quick summary of what those entailed. It really saved me a lot of time because I didn't have to look at different job boards to keep myself updated because someone else was doing that for me. BCG Attorney search is #1.
University of Michigan Law School, Class Of 2017
Placed at Lerner David Littenberg Krumholz & Mentlik LLPI really liked the recruiter I worked with and her experience and I appreciated her ability to guide me through the process. I really helps to narrow your search down to jobs that are a fit for what you are looking for. BCG is the best recruiting firm I have ever worked with.
My recruiter was very responsive in communicating with me during the job hunt. Communication was huge. Someone else doing the work for you is great. It's hard to penetrate the market sometimes or to know about opportunities so it was great to have eyes and ears where you don't and I think BCG really helped me out by having a foot in the game, that was very helpful. I would for sure use BCG again if I ever needed to.
University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Class Of 2015
Placed at Linowes & Blocher, L.L.P.BCG was very responsive. The recruiter I worked with was candid, which was very helpful. BCG also helped me focus my search and also made me aware of opportunities I wouldn't have found otherwise. BCG is the best overall recruiting company I've interacted with. My recruiter was knowledgeable, and she seemed actually invested in furthering my career.
University of Michigan Law School, Class Of 2014
Placed at Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP.I really appreciated Jessica's responsiveness and how quickly she got me interviews and that I was able to get a job very quickly. She was easy to communicate with and was always available. The responsiveness of a recruiter makes a big difference. Other recruiters are slow to get back with you or take forever to provide new law firms so working with BCG made it very quick. I have only worked with one other recruiting company and you guys are certainly better than them.

Placed at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC[My favorite thing about BCG was] the communication, with everyone working together across markets and communicating with me as well...I mainly worked with my legal placement professional and she was very on top of everything. She was also very helpful and knowledgeable with interviews and knowing the process, so she helped me a lot with that...it was very responsive [and] took a lot of the time off my hands. Communicating with the firms and also handling some of the awkward conversation situations, being that middle person really helped [made my job search easier]. [The words that come to mind when I think of BCG are] friendly, professional, and top tier. I've worked with several recruiters and overall BCG was just much better. Based on the recruiting companies that I worked with I would say [you are] number one. And I've worked with someone at Parker Lynch, Wegman, and then a couple of other solo people. Each for different reasons, I think BCG was the best. [BCG] was very friendly and knowledgeable and responsive. They have good connections to the firms and a good brand for getting you out there and working for different firms to get you where you want to be.
University of Pennsylvania Law School, Class Of 2016
Placed at Ballard Spahr LLP.I would say Becca's responsiveness and thoroughness with explanations providing as much contact as possible [was my favorite part of working with BCG]. I just left it in her hands. The only thing that I needed to do was to do great interviews. Other than that she managed all of it. [BCG is] very knowledgeable, [has] expertise, [and] you've got great staff in terms of their expertise as well as experience in the field. Also, I would just add that [I liked] the responsiveness and I liked the reporting thing that you do on a weekly basis. [BCG has] all the tools in place to make sure that the candidate has an up to date picture of what their candidacy looks like. [You are] by far the best and I have worked with lots. I would definitely recommend you guys. I would describe the company as thorough [and] knowledgeable. You know the field [and] have lots of information and resources that are available to candidates.
George Washington University Law School, Class Of 2008
Placed at Seyfarth Shaw LLPI worked with Becca primarily, but there were other recruiters involved who were very good. I think the best thing that they did that I noticed was different from other recruiters that I've worked with in the past is the strategic approach they took to send the applications in [and] send resumes in to a large number of places. I thought that made a lot of sense and it worked out really well. And they were great to work with. For me, it turned out I was kind of an unusual candidate. It turned out to be a very quick process...I wasn't expecting that. I think part of that was just because of the strategy of applying widely. I thought that was great. [When I think of BCG] honestly the first word that comes to mind is Harrison Barnes. [He is] one of the reasons I liked BCG before I got involved with you guys. He is kind of well-known in the law community. I've always liked his articles...there were one or two in particular that I had read, I think about getting back into big law after a leave that I think were very good and well put together...it kind of put me over the edge...that's what made me decide to reach out. I do have another recruiting friend. I think it's notable that I didn't go with his company for this. I've got another recruiter that I've worked with and they have even placed me in the past and I didn't go with them. I put you guys ahead of them in terms of just getting the job done. I would describe you guys as being very efficient [and] very focused on the end result, which is great. Again, I think the whole approach from the beginning was [to] get the best results in the most efficient way. I think that that's the right approach.
University of Michigan Law School, Class Of 2010
Placed at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP.The communication was reasonably good and timely. I thought the woman I worked with was very professional and she was good at communicating in terms of following up in a reasonable amount of time. It worked and I'm here, so I am very happy as a result.

Placed at Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker, PA[My favorite thing about working with BCG is] the materials they provided for the interview process. I [also] feel like they knew what I was looking for. [They found] the position I was looking for and were able to find a place that fit what I was looking [for], rather than just any kind of opening. [Working with BCG made my job easier because it gave me] the ability to connect with a place that was a good match, and saved me a lot of time if I had to do it on my own. [The words that come to mind when I think of BCG are] efficiency, personable, and experienced. I would recommend the recruiter that I used because of her experience.
University of Chicago Law School, Class Of 2014
Placed at Holland & Knight, LLPI chose the person; it was my recruiter at BCG in particular because of the attention I knew that she was going to give. She gave daily hand holding attention, which is critical. That just made a big difference. And I chose her over someone, who I was told is the biggest name in the field. [I did this] because I knew I wanted someone who was going to be a cheerleader [as] opposed to somebody who just had some big name. [BCG] walked [me] through each step of the process. I was coming from a different career [and] different market and didn't really know how I should present myself or anything. I knew I had strengths but I didn't know how to package them for this kind of thing. I knew how to package them for a client, but not for a new place [of] employment. [I would describe BCG as] scrappy, hungry, [and] supportive. I would rank you highly. You need someone who is really going to walk each step of the way with you. You already have your own cache so you don't need some place to give you cache. You need someone who is going to explain the process [and] go through the ups and downs with you. That's what you [have] going.
I think probably the best thing was the quality of the listings and the comprehensiveness. It allowed me to concentrate more on the interviews and the subsequent parts of the process rather than all the applications. [I would describe BCG as] helpful [and] responsive. I would describe it as a good option if [you] want [a] recruiting position, particularly in the law firm stage.
[The best part was] the volume of applications you sent out in a very short period of time. [Working with BCG made my job search easier because] I found a job. [BCG is] efficient, professional, and responsive. I worked with one other local recruiter and BCG was much better.
Columbia Law School, Class Of 2013
Placed at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP[BCG was] very friendly and very prompt in replying. It made it easier to narrow my search to what I was really looking for. You are ranked number one, because your results lead to employment. I would recommend you. I would describe you as professional and effective.
What were some of my favorite things about working with BCG? One would be my recruiter Becca. I think she was honestly the best thing. I enjoyed the report that I got every week. For me, Becca made the experience. That's all I can really say. She was really responsive and always very positive. I also enjoyed getting the reports that let me know what was happening and what wasn't happening, who passed on me, who was interviewing me, [and] who was still sitting on my application. That was very useful and I enjoyed all that. But honestly I just liked my recruiter, a ton, from the beginning to the end. I think I may have gotten really lucky. How did working with BCG make my job search easier? To be honest you all did most of the work, I just went to the interviews when they came. One thing I did like is that I would get a pool of things that were available. I'm barred in a few states so it's kind of hard for me to search for a job in three different places. Also, Becca was able to let me know what was available in the three states I was interested in going to. From the firms that she found I was able to go to their websites and see what the department looked like and whether or not I really wanted to pursue any of those that were available. I think when you have three memberships in different states, that [using BCG] makes it a whole lot easier. The first three words that come to mind when I think about BCG are Becca, surprised, and success. I would say surprised because I learned much more about the company afterwards, so I was kind of nervous about being a part of it, but I thought it was pretty good. I would say success because I did get a job pretty quickly. I think it was six weeks. I worked with one other [recruiting firm] before and I have friends that have worked with them. Out of the ones that I have worked with personally you all were way better. I feel like I got more. At the other place if I contacted somebody I may not get a response all the time. [With] Becca, she was texting me and calling me [to keep me updated]. Anytime I would send something to her I would get a response within [about] an hour. Also, sometimes people don't like to give you bad news if you ask about it, but Becca was always open to letting me know what was going on. It seems like we were in the process together, which is very nice. If I were describing you to one of my peers I would say BCG is very professional and very efficient. You know that report you send every week? I received my report every Friday and it gave me some insight to what was going on. The other company I worked with didn't do that. I would say [you are] very efficient, and very up-to-date about what's going on. It's not like this process where you don't know what the recruiters [are] doing. I kind of had an idea of what Becca was doing. That made me feel a lot more comfortable because I felt like progress was being made. Even if I was getting denied or passed by, I still knew that my application was [getting sent] out [to] different places every week or that I was applying for one or two things every week. I guess that's the biggest thing. Becca was great. She was really responsive, and the reports just let me feel a little bit more at ease with what you all were doing and the places I was applying to. I was moving forward.
The recruiter I worked with was responsive. [The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are] attorney search and good. [I would] recommend [BCG to others].
Hofstra University School of Law, Class Of 2009
Placed at Tarter, Krinsky & Drogin, L.L.P.Some of my favorite things about working with BCG were that my recruiter was very responsive and encouraging.BCG made my job search easier because of the feedback I got from my recruiter and the search scope I was looking at before made me think about things a little differently.BCG is responsive, professional, and a joy to work with. I would say BCG is the top recruiting firm.I would tell a peer that it will be worth reaching out to BCG. They have connectivity and can help someone explore their potential.
University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Class Of 1998
Placed at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP[I like how BCG] took the lead, and got everything done. [It was] a stress and hassle free process. You handled all the necessary background work, [such as] cover letter writing and the application process, and allowed me to focus on my current job without distractions with the process. [BCG is] reliable, efficient, and great. I would strongly recommend you. It was a stress free process. [BCG] took care of everything and kept [up] the communication without overly hassling me.
I thought that BCG Attorney Search was very responsive. They gave me a good set of listings, the web interface to approve postings was nice, and the ability to exclude specific firms from further consideration was also nice. They were [also] a good intermediary between me and the possible firms. They gave me good background information on the people I was talking with and provided me with some reading material that was helpful as well. [They were] hands on and communicative. [BCG was] the best of the [recruiters] I've worked with. [They were] easy to work with.
I liked the feedback. I liked being able to check what the status was every week. You guys just applied me to places, and I appreciated that I knew at least most of what I was going to go into at an interview. I would tell others to use you. You're just great.
I thought that because BCG was a larger recruiting firm that service would not be as personable--I was so very wrong and am SO glad I gave BCG a chance. Becca Levine was so great. It was easy and pleasurable to work with her and she was so responsive--I felt like I was her only client.I simply would not have the job I do today [if not for BCG]. I had worked with other recruiters for 6+ months before working with BCG and accepted my current position within about a month after working with Becca. The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are effective, personable, and diligent.I would rank you at the very top [compared to other recruiting companies]. No question about it.If you're looking to make a move, contact BCG. While I cannot attest that every recruiter is as wonderful as Becca, her dedication and commitment to finding me a new position was unparalleled and working with her was an incredibly positive experience.
I like that you guys have a website where you do postings. I think that is helpful because we can kind of see what's out there. Obviously you don't post the names, but I think even posting positions is a lot more than what other people tend to do. You can do it on your own time and look at the website when you want. That is helpful. My recruiter was very professional and was very knowledgeable (maybe because she used to be an attorney). She did a very great job.I would highly recommend you guys.
My recruiter was very friendly, engaged, informative, and hardworking. Working with BCG made my job search easier because I didn't have to do anything. I didn't have to do any searching on my own.The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are professional, informative, and friendly. I would definitely recommend you guys to others.
Harrison is very thorough, on top of it, proactive and hard working. It took a lot of pressure off me for you to do the work. The word that comes to mind when I think of BCG is connected. I haven't worked with many recruiters, but BCG is the best one so far. I would definitely recommend you guys. Working with you was a very good experience and was very helpful. I would tell someone else that working with you could only be a good thing.
Washington College of Law, American University, Class Of 1994
Placed at Groom Law FirmMy recruiter helped me achieve my life-long goal of working in a big law firm. When every recruiter I spoke to said ""no- you do not have the pedigree"" or ""your book of business is not big enough,"" she saw in me what my current employer did- a tenacious attorney with the motivation to succeed if given the chance.Right from the onset, she was the only one who invested time in talking to me, getting to know me and my work, and really believed in my expertise. She focused on my work, clients, and personality, rather than my law school. And soon, following my association with my recruiter I had numerous interviews with large firms. These were the same large firms that other recruiters said my credentials were not suitable for application. I am now working at a top AM Law 100 firm running my own practice group! My recruiter was very patient with me since I was unfamiliar with the ""big firm"" process. She talked to me almost daily about my interviews and expectations. Through her persistence and relationships, she even got me an interview at a firm which initially passed and ultimately turned into a strong contender. What else can I say? She made what everyone else said was impossible - possible. She is an invaluable resource for people like me, who are hard working but don't have the pedigree to be recognized on our merit alone. Thank you.
Becca was great. She was super supportive and very communicative. She emphasized that getting things to firms early is really important.

Placed at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP.[My favorite thing about working with BCG was the] responsiveness of the person who was working with me. It's another resource. I am still doing everything else on LinkedIn and using other resources. But it's an additional resource that's able to reach out to companies on my behalf, perhaps in a way that I couldn't, with more formality. [The first words that come to mind when I think of BCG Attorney Search are] helpful [and] resource.

Placed at Koss & Schonfeld, LLPI probably [am] a little different than most people's experience. I was contacted by the recruiter, Katy Anderman, She was passed by the employer for finding a candidate for the position. I had not been looking to work with a recruiter or even look for another job outside of my current position. But it seemed like a good fit. Some of my favorite things were the recruiter herself was very personable, very informative, [and] very easy to work with and she really helped guide the process. I don't think she gave me any feedback on my resume or cover letter, but she did give me some information to help prepare for the interview. She gave me feedback after the interview, and was very helpful in helping me negotiate the final employment agreement. [BCG is] helpful, informative, and friendly. I would recommend you guys. If someone is looking for a new position, I would definitely recommend that they reach out to [you]. The person I worked with was great. It helps to rely on [a recruiter] to guide [you] through the process. It was a good experience.
New York University School of Law, Class Of 2009
Placed at Swissport USA, Inc.My recruiter in New York has been great in facilitating my job search process and already identified several potential opportunities. If any of my peers are seeking opportunities in the legal field and will make great candidates, I will refer them to BCG.
It made it easy in that I really didn't have to look at postings on my own and I also didn't have to do the cover letter, which was super helpful. The firm that I got placed at, the HR rep, he used to work for BCG so there's already some sort of familiarity and something that was helpful going in and starting the process.
After my initial conversation with your recruiter, I knew I had made the right decision in deciding to work with him. He asked me a series of questions about my practice, my career interests, and my long terms goals. From this conversation, he identified several firms that he thought would be a good match for me. He prepared a comprehensive, five-page cover letter and attached my resume to distribute to various law firms. One of the firms, my current firm, shared with me how impressed they were with the cover letter. During the interview, the practice group leader stated that he didn't have any substantive questions about my background or reasons why I was interviewing because they were provided in the cover letter. He is truly phenomenal, not only because he has great attention to detail, but also because he really cares about each of his candidates. He is a personal cheerleader, a therapist and a great listener. He coached me through the entire process from the initial interview through the final acceptance phase. I appreciate all of the time and effort (and countless phone calls) your recruiter spent helping me to find my current position. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is really interested in finding their career purpose. Working with him is not just about finding a new job but it is more about doing a self-evaluation about who you are and who you want to be. Thanks!
Over the course of the past year, I worked with over a dozen Boston area legal recruiters. Your recruiter turned out to be, by far, the best recruiter I found and was ultimately the one who placed me in a new position. The vast majority of recruiters I found worked off of a model which was, I believe, in direct opposition to my best interests as a candidate they started with a list of open positions and tried to force me into one of their existing profiles. He did the opposite; he spent a substantial amount of time with me at the beginning of the process and learned about my skill set and what I was looking for. He then wrote detailed introduction letters on my behalf, which he submitted not only to employers with posted positions but also to employers who were not hiring but who seemed like a good fit. In addition to being pleased with the amount of time and effort he invested in my search, I was impressed by his knowledge of the greater Boston legal market and understanding of how my specific skill set matched or didn't [match] available positions. He was a very pleasant person to work with and always responded quickly and helpfully to my questions. I have recommended him to numerous colleagues and would continue to do so, without reservation, to anyone in the market. He is a refreshing and effective exception to the impersonal cold-call culture that unfortunately seems to dominate the recruiting area.
Thank you. I too must tell you that working with you has been such a pleasure. Your professionalism, attentiveness and honesty has been very useful and something I've really appreciated, especially considering my past experience with head hunters. I cannot begin to thank you for all your help and guidance. This experience has been unlike no other and I am confident that [my new firm] is going to be the beginning of a whole new career for me! I have you to thank for that.
I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed working with you during this process. As you know, I was working with a couple of recruiters. There was a stark difference in my experiences with you and the other recruiter. Your knowledge of the marketplace and your advice helped keep a daunting process manageable. I also appreciated that you were always available-- nights or weekends--for a quick question or update. In short, if any colleagues ask if I know of a recruiter, I will be sending them your way. Again, thanks for all of your help.
BCG's assistance with my job search was invaluable. Being relatively new to this city, I had some basic degree of knowledge regarding the personalities of the different firms in town; but my recruiter was able to fill in a lot of holes. His recommendations as to which firms would suit my interests and which seemed to be in the market for lateral associates with my qualifications were very sound. After working with me to come up with a list of firms to target, he prepared a cover memo that would accompany my resume; his memo made a concise, powerful case as to why I would be a perfect candidate for the target firms. And it was effective: I received an interview with the firm I was most interested in, was invited back for another round of interviews, and ultimately received and accepted the firm's offer. Steve was a good sounding board throughout the interview process; and, in short, he gets my strong, unqualified endorsement as a levelheaded and knowledgeable resource for any lawyer looking to make a move in this area.
BCG delivered as promised and more. I knew finding a job in D.C. while coming from Texas would be hard, but they made it possible. My recruiter was there to answer my questions, gave me great tips, and always followed up with me and the different firms I interviewed at. As I talk to other attorneys about their experience with different recruiters, I can see that I was lucky to have someone like her work with me. I highly recommend BCG for anyone ready to make a career move.
BCG attorney search has made a really good impression with me and is doing a great job.
Thank you for your professional attention and timely response to my application. The information received from BCG Attorney Search has been very instructive, and the referral to LawCrossing was highly appreciated.
Prior to contacting BCG, I was ''working with'' more than one other attorney placement firm, including one that specialized in the area of the country in which I was seeking a job. However, none of the others worked as hard as BCG, and none of the others even got me an interview. Within three weeks of contacting BCG, my resume was on the desks of several firms. Within two months, I had a top paying job at a top notch firm in the city in which I wanted to live. If it were not for BCG, I'd still be looking for a job today.
I have enjoyed working with Katy and I look forward to learning more from you in the future.
Katy seems great and I'm happy to be working with her. I enjoyed your interviewing-skills article, especially the list of questions to ask.
My recruiter in New York has been wonderful and has already shared some encouraging news.
"Thank you so much for taking the time to prepare me for the interview. Without your guidance, I most certainly would not have been as crisp as I was that day!"
When I was considering a move, my first inclination was to seek an in house position, had even sent out a couple of resumes with no response. Then I met Margaret. After discussing the current market, my strengths and my weaknesses with her, it became clear that a move to another firm would best fit my goals and the market. Margaret helped me polish my resume and quickly got the word out. It wasn't long before I had my first interview. She was very helpful in my preparation for the interview, giving tips on the people I would be meeting with, and getting feedback afterwards. Margaret was diligent in always following up. I really can't thank Margaret enough, she was behind me 100%, and it paid off. I would highly recommend Margaret to anyone contemplating a move in the legal market.
Margaret worked with me for 4 months until I found a new position at a different firm, and she was responsive, helpful, dedicated and wonderful to work with the entire time. She put a lot of thought into finding openings that she thought were suitable for me, helped me prepare for interviews, and was available to speak during evenings and weekends. Due to her previous experience as an attorney, she has deep insight into what employers are looking for. In addition to all these qualities, Margaret really stands out from the rest because she is both wise and trustworthy- she guided me through certain interesting situations safely, and I was able to trust her to be discreet and to keep my best interests at heart, as she never pushed me to apply for anything I wasn't interested in. She enjoys her job, and that came across very clearly in every interaction we had, as she was unfailingly kind, patient, and professional each time. After comparing notes with friends who have worked with other recruiters, there is no doubt that Margaret is one of the best recruiters in the area. I would highly recommend Margaret to anyone contemplating a move.Thank you Margaret --3rd Year Corporate Associate, NYC
Margaret provided exceptional service at every step, as well as providing the key information that I needed to make my move. I felt that I had an advisor on my side instead of a salesperson selling me a move. I have already recommended her to several friends. Thank you Margaret. --- Midlevel Real Estate Associate, New York.
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Margaret during my job search. Not only was I looking to make a move to a new firm, but I was looking to move to a different city as well. From New York, Margaret was able to find many quality opportunities for me in various cities along the East Coast, until I was finally able to narrow it down to one city. Margaret spent countless hours on the phone with me discussing my career, why I wanted to leave my firm, what I was looking to get out of my new job, and what type of positions would be appropriate for my career level. She also presented a few opportunities that were slightly out of the box that I might not have considered had it not been for her. Margaret put an immense amount of effort into helping me obtain a position that I would be happy with, including helping me revise my resume, calling me to discuss the details of various openings, and calling me before and after each and every interview to help me prepare and to debrief with me afterwards. I am not sure that many other recruiters would go to such lengths.Something that is very important to me is that Margaret was never pushy if I did not want to apply to a certain position, we always discussed why so that she could fully understand where I was coming from, and she always respected my wishes about where to apply. Additionally, I never felt like I was running after Margaret for updates or information she was always in close contact with me throughout the process.Only a week or two after Margaret submitted my resume to various open positions, I had multiple interviews and callback interviews, and within 3 weeks I had a job offer, and 2 weeks later another. Margaret also helped me navigate the slightly awkward task of communicating with the firm where I had the standing offer while I was still interviewing for other positions. I was extremely surprised at how smooth and easy the process had been, and I am sure it was due to Margaret's efforts. Margaret also made herself available to me anytime I needed her throughout the process nights, weekends, etc., in order to be sure that I felt comfortable with my job search.I believe that Margaret truly cares about the individual she is working with and goes to great lengths to ensure that the individual finds a position that he or she will be happy with. I have already recommended Margaret to several of my friends and will continue to do so in the future. In fact, I am still in contact with Margaret months after my job search ended, and plan to continue to do so!Not only was Margaret great, but I was extremely pleased with BCG as a whole as well. Margaret is an extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy source in her field, but if by chance she was unsure about something, she would reach out to her fellow recruiters at BCG and would always have an answer for me very quickly. I would definitely recommend BCG Attorney Search to anyone who is considering looking for a new position. --- Junior Corporate Associate, D.C.
I had a really good experience. I worked with Margaret Gilleran. She was great, very responsive. I loved the position I was placed in; I'm still there obviously. It was kind of a unique position she found for me [and] it ended up being a great fit. It was super easy. Margaret gave me great feedback on my resume. She got in touch with a bunch of different firms that were hiring and set up interviews for me. What I thought was particularly helpful was she forwarded me a bunch of materials to prepare for my interview. Those materials were really helpful to me. I would definitely recommend BCG services.
