My legal placement professional did a good job of following up. I have used others in the past and sometimes you send your CV and you either get an initial call and then you never hear back from them. She was very diligent and would give me periodic updates, and it showed that she was really on top of things, and that was a good thing to see. BCG gave me access to certain openings which allowed me to apply and she did a good job of following up with her contacts at the firms that we submitted my CV to, and that is something that I don't have, like a personal connection with certain people at certain places and she was able to follow up and get my CV to their attention. BCG is ranked #1. My legal placement professional did a phenomenal job and I'm very happy.
My legal placement professional was always really quick about responding to my questions when I had them in the interview process and during the job search. I thought it was a very efficient process overall. Definitely recommend it! I didn't really apply that much on my own for firms. You basically did all the work for me so it made it incredibly easy. I thought it was a great experience. Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you have used?A. I have only used 2, but so far you would be #1!

Placed at Hopkins & CarleyMy legal placement professional was great and really creative in identifying some opportunities that I wouldn't have ordinarily thought of including Davis Wright, which is where I am going, so I think that was for me, the most unique and impressive part of it. She didn't just go to the easily identifiable firms that do what I do, but she looked at other firms and I thought that was good. For me, having a go between that has experience like my legal placement professional, being someone who knew my background and had someone who had a similar background as well and that had transitioned it, helped a lot to have her input in my resume, my business plan and the discussions I was having with some of the partners at the firms I was meeting with. I haven't worked with a lot of recruiters, but individually, my legal placement professional was very knowledgeable and for me the most important part was creative. She was looking for the opportunities that weren't usually clear that they had business similar to what I did, but places that wanted to get into my white collar area of the law, and that was for me, from my perspective, puts her among the best.

Placed at Davis Wright Tremaine LLPI thought my legal placement professional was really great. She didn't push me into one corner or another. I had some really aggressive experiences with recruiters, one of whom actually disclosed to people at the firm that I was looking to try to attract them as well and things like that. I really appreciated that she handled herself ethically. My experience was professional and above board. BCG did all of the work, and they really earned their commission. They were aggressive in contact, and from my experience they did everything I would have wanted them to do.Working with BCG made my job easier because they provided all the listings and I submitted [my choices]. They gave me advice regarding how to interview and things like that. It was very good. The first three words that come to mind when I think of BCG are aggressive, large, and significant. I would rank BCG right at the top compared to other recruiting companies I have worked with. I'd recommend my legal placement professional. To me, just candidly, it is about the individuals. I was lucky to work with one of the best people, and I would recommend her. I think there were also great materials. To me it's 90% about your person and 10% about the firm.
My favorite thing about working with BCG Attorney Search and Sarah was that she was always able to answer questions I had about each role and was a great negotiator on my behalf. She just continued to reach out and share listings with me that I thought would be appropriate, until I was hired. I haven't worked with a recruiter in the past, but this was a great experience.

Placed at Miller & Martin PLLCI wanted to take a moment to provide you with a quick update on my end. A couple of weeks ago, I accepted an offer to join the Los Angeles office of a national full-service law firm as a member of their litigation team in their healthcare and elder law practice group. Brian, you have been the most professional and courteous recruiter I have dealt with, and I look forward to keeping in very close touch.
She was on it and didn't pester too much but stayed in contact. She didn't just communicate via email, she also sent texts so that gives a little more of a personal touch. It makes it seems like things are moving and they actually care and that you aren't just one out of a million applicants. I know that is a hard thing to balance for recruiters. They are either not on it or they are pestering you all of the time, one of the two. She found the right balance of that. You have a nice online portal where you can pick the firms that you want to apply to and reject the ones that you already applied to or plan on doing yourself. I thought that was a nice feature. I have worked with a bunch of other companies and nobody else has anything like that. It is usually just email communications and a lot of times they won't even tell you who the firm is so you are just wasting your time talking to people when they won't let you know. It is kind of a waste of time to go back and forth if you have already applied there or you don't want to work there so.Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you have used?A. I would put you at the top! I also thought a lot of the emails that you sent out to everybody were pretty helpful with tips and pitfalls to avoid, the interview process and making partner and all those sorts of things. I think those emails are really helpful to read.
