You guys were great. You did your job, and I have a job. One thing I really like is all the articles and tutorials on your website, they were very insightful. I have worked with other recruiters but what surprised me is how fast you found me a job, and in another state too. I wasn't expecting to find a job so fast.
I worked with my legal placement professional. She was very proactive about getting my resume and cover letter out to different people and always keeping me updated and sending me articles to go through. I liked that she was very proactive about getting my name out there. You guys did all the work in terms of drafting cover letters which was very helpful [since] I didn't have to do that myself. Identifying good employers to send my resumes to was really helpful because it took out a lot of the leg work for me. [When I think of BCG Attorney Search] proactive, dedicated, helpful, and knowledgeable [come to mind]...I would put you guys as number one. I would say that it's really helpful to work with you guys because you're proactive. I know some recruiters just sit back and wait and [are] not always on the lookout for new opportunities. [BCG was] really helpful...again, you do a lot of the leg work, drafting cover letters. [I would recommend that] anybody that is looking to find a new position [should] work with you guys. You are very helpful and you have a lot of good clients in terms of placements.

Placed at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, P.L.C.I like BCG because I felt like, well I am going to direct my comments toward my legal placement professional because I really don't know for sure how BCG as a whole works, but I know what my legal placement professional did for me. It seems like she was always doing something. I would get new firms to approve all the time. Even if I hadn't talked to her in a month, I was still getting those emails to approve new firms so I felt like I didn't have to be in constant contact with her and that she was still working as best she could at finding me a placement opportunity. This made it so much easier because I didn't have to do cover letters, I didn't have to worry about anything, I just did my resume. I would talk to my legal placement professional about what I wanted , like I'd change my goal and let her know that I was thinking maybe I would like a job a little more focused on this or that and she would give me some ideas of how to tweak my resume which I would do and send back to her and then she would update the cover letter and send it in and do everything. She has placed me twice now and personally, I haven't had to apply to a single job on my own. BCG certainly is number one, but they are also the only one I have worked with.

Placed at Duckor Spradling Metzger & Wynne, A Law Corporation.I think my legal placement professional is very proactive and very responsive. Every time I had question, no matter what kind of question, whether about my resume, an opening or about an interview question, she always responded very quickly. In terms of BCG Search, the biggest advantage is that it has a very large database and works with a lot of law firms, so there are a lot of exclusive opportunities that are only posted on BCG's website. What really saved me time was I think the system, how the whole process works, like she would send me a link so that I could view the opening that required my approval and shows each opportunity and how far it goes. The system works very well and makes it very intuitive and easy for a candidate to get a knowledge of what kind of opportunity is available and what are the process in terms of each opportunity. BCG a lot of established information in their systems, like if you are going to have an interview, BCG has a book to tell you about the process, how to ace the interview, and if you have a call back, then BCG will have a book for you on the helpful tips and tricks on how to answer a call back. I think BCG is absolutely the best.
Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, Class Of 2014
Placed at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & RosatiMy legal placement professional reached out to me on a cold email and I looked her up and we had similar backgrounds so I called her and she made the process really simple. She had me send her my resume, transcript and a writing sample and she sent me a list of firms in a couple days. She made it really easy and it was pretty chill, uncomplicated and easy to understand. Very straight forward. On the BCG front, I appreciated having a bajillion articles on a bunch of different topics that I tend to think about. The liked the app and having all of these resources and articles was very helpful. What I appreciate the most about she is her tenacity and it isn't overbearing. I am sure there are recruiters that are tenacious with a hammer but she is tenacious with a scalpel.A bit of my story with BCG and being hired at Mayer Brown - at first the recruiting manager said they would pass on me and gave a reason, my GPA. My legal placement professional explained to me that they normally don't give a reason and the fact that he did give a reason opened a door for her to chime in and give her perspective to counter their point. Because of that they passed my resume onto the rest of the firm and then I was able to seal the deal through the interview process. She's willingness to do that is really great. I think it is super easy for people to just move on because they already said no. What was great about my legal placement professional is that Mayer Brown was a huge reach for me to get and I feel really lucky; and she knew that and that the chances were low but despite that she doubled down and told the firm why they should consider me. It think it is a testament to her character. Most people would be like "I knew he wasn't going to get it anyway so if I doubled down it won't help the situation since the chances are low so I am just going to move on and use my time more strategically". The fact that she did that changed the course of my career and it meant a lot! She was super friendly, always available no matter the time or day via text or email or call. If I wanted a call she was available right away, no question about it. What I appreciate about my legal placement professional is that she was super supportive and very encouraging. I don't think she just saw me as a job or a box she needed to check. She was interested in who I was as a person and the encouragement she offered me was very tailored. Some people offer general encouragement because that is what you are supposed to do and that can come across as insincere but she provided me with encouragement that wasn't overblow and was very specific to who I was. When she had doubts, she told me she had doubts but at the end of the day she reminded me that I was a good candidate and there can be a win for me. She reminded me that I have a lot to offer. This process is extremely stressful and her being so encouraging made this process a lot easier, so I am really grateful for that.
My favorite thing about working with My legal placement professional was her quick response time. She was great!
My favorite thing about BCG was the availability of my recruiter. She was available at any time that I would text her, or call her sometimes she was driving but she always made herself available. I appreciated the general care to my interests and actually caring about my career goals. Sarah didn't seem like she had any kind of plant or lean but she was just completely about my own career goals and what would be best for me, even when I was considering non-BCG presented options, she was still available and happy to talk to me about those and I really appreciated that. I think that she's made my job search easier because she did a lot of the leg work with like helping schedule the interviews and talking to people in HR and so I didn't feel like I had to be the one communicating all the time. She assisted with all of that and it sure made it easier for me.
This was my first time working with a recruiter and my legal placement professional was more than I could have hoped for. She was amazing. She took the time to get to know me and what my goals were and what me and my family wanted for my legal career and she tailored her search for firms to meet those needs and she was interested and engaging and responsive, very very very responsive to inquiries I had or emails I sent, really quick turnaround time throughout the interview process called and asked how the interviews went and took an interest in all of that, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with my legal placement professional BCG was awesome too. I really enjoyed the websites interface in particular how it identified the firms I had applied to and kept a status update as to if they were under consideration, pass or interview, so very positive experience all around. [Working with BCG] made it easier in every sense of the word. Number 1, BCG did all of the leg work really, they did the applications, my legal placement professional more or less prepared my cover letter. I wouldn't have had the time in my day to do this. We applied to 25 or 30 firms and that would have taken me alone, several days to do. My legal placement professional also helped me select my writing sample that I was going to use and reviewed my resume so all of that made my job search easier. I would recommend anybody that was looking for a job in the legal profession to use BCG based on my experience. I haven't used other recruiters but my experience was just so good that I would send anybody that cared to ask me, BCG's way. There was one other recruiter that I had reached out to prior to BCG but they actually had told me that they couldn't work with me because I hadn't received my Califormia bar results yet and to come back in 3 months. I was a bit dejected by that call and then my legal placement professional said let's get going and I ended up getting a job before bar results even came out. It was something the other recruiter dropped the ball on and BCG clearly didn't.

Placed at Perkins Coie LLPI enjoyed how responsive Jessica was. She always made time to keep me updated and answered my questions. Jessica made my job search easier because I did not have to directly reach out to employers, my resume was sent and then Jessica advised me which employers were interested. Jessica was amazing and really made the job-search process easier.I have never used any other recruiting companies, but I would recommend your company.

Placed at Hershoff, Lupino & Yagel, LLPI liked the amount of opportunities that were available, the responsiveness of the person I worked with, and the amount of work, as well as the effort that was put into trying to get me the right job placement. Working with BCG made my job search easier because you were able to consolidate all of the opportunities that were available to the BCG interface, and I was able to talk to someone directly about more of the details of what I was looking for that you can't really express through the written word. BCG was well run and professional. You were definitely more comprehensive than other firms. I got a lot of opportunities from BCG. BCG will work hard to focus their efforts on what you want. They are focused on the type of work you're looking for.

Placed at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & RosatiI worked primarily with one recruiter, and she was very responsive, I felt like she always had her eyes on a potential opportunity for me, always followed up, and was very engaged in my job search. Working with BCG took some of the burden off of me in terms of looking for potential opportunities, and a lot of the more logistical and practical aspects of it were a lot easier. It was nice to have someone to speak to and help with some of the stress that goes along with finding a new job.The recruiter I was working with in particular was very helpful, very engaged, and I felt like she really valued my goal of finding a new job.I would absolutely recommend BCG, especially the particular recruiter that I used.
Sarah handled everything and cared about and was interested in what we were interested in, and wanted to support us and guided us through the entire process. That is the reason I would come back to BCG and Sarah specifically to help me if I wanted to move again, because I believe that she genuinely cares about us and what we need and what we want. I am very grateful for all of her help. She did everything! She contacted us at a time when we were batting around whether we were ready to get our feet wet again. I sent my resume and she did everything else. I just showed up for interviews. It made everything easier. Sarah is a genuinely fantastic person, and excellent to talk to; and I came to care about her, and I believe she came to care about us, too. It showed in her performance, and that is the reason I would be reaching out to Sarah if I ever needed assistance again. And I am looking forward to that.
You provided a lot of back-end help in terms of preparing resumes, cover letters, etc. It was good to receive possibilities on an ongoing basis, and then, all I really needed to do is say yes.
My legal placement professional was great. She listened to what I wanted. She worked really hard and found me what she could and she was really encouraging and gave good advice. And was also really understood that I might not want to go with that particular firm. She was pretty supportive. I was really busy at the time I was looking so she was really helpful in handling if I couldn't email back the firm or stuff she took care of all those things for me and that was really helpful.

Placed at Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith LLP.I enjoyed working with my legal placement professional because she was very accessable and was available to talk through my issues. BCG was very helpful in disseminating the resume and mediating the initial discussions. BCG is number 1!

Placed at McCormick Barstow LLPI worked with a different recruiter before I worked with BCG Attorney Search, and the difference was like night and day. My recruiter was very responsive to any questions I had, always calling me back within hours if I left a voicemail. Moreover, his knowledge of the market in the Bay Area for lateral associates was nothing short of impressive. He gave me his assessments of the strengths and weaknesses of the practices at the various law firms, which my interviews confirmed. He also gave me insight into the cultures of the different firms and where I might find the best fit. In fact, the firm he thought would be the best fit for me proved to be the firm I chose to join, and I don't think I could have made a better choice. I recommend BCG Attorney Search wholeheartedly.
My recruiter has been more thorough than any other recruiter I've spoken to. I really appreciate the questions she has asked me, and the improvements she made to my resume.
I'm glad to be working with Brian and Allison again, as they were very helpful in my 2010 job search.
