BCG Attorney Search Reviews

Recently, I had the privilege of working with my recruiter in your Chicago office and wanted to express how much I enjoyed working with them and BCG during my job search. Most candidates who have used other recruiters before BCG probably share the same story-a recruiter spends a short amount of time with a candidate and then wants to peddle a resume to a number of potential employers or sell you on an open position in another firm. Unlike recruiters at other organizations, my recruiter spent a considerable amount of time with me at the beginning of the process learning about my background, skill set, and motivations to find firms that would be a good fit. My recruiter was friendly and straightforward. They identified my strengths and weaknesses as a candidate and offered useful suggestions on preparing for interviews. My recruiter also prepared detailed summaries about me for firms that interviewers remarked were very helpful to them.

My favorite thing about working with BCG was that they were fast and knowledgeable. They were able to make my job search easier because they helped prepare me for interviews successfully. They knew people and had contacts with the firms I was interested in. I would describe them as being very competent.

I loved the responsiveness of my legal placement professional, and the weekly reports were super helpful, just knowing there was work going on. Also, one thing that was great, was just before the interview checking in with her and having her walk me through the interview (because I haven't interviewed in so long), she was kind of nervous about that process and she made herself available to calm nerves and walk me through everything. This was my first switch since graduating law school and so I just wasn't sure how this worked, but she explained the process and she was very open. She wasn't applying to firms that didn't fit what I wanted and I really appreciated that. She went after the jobs I really wanted and got out to those opportunities for me, so that was very helpful. I have never worked with a recruiter, and I thought that everything went really well. I got a job and so this worked out great.

[The first things that come to mind when I think of BCG Attorney Search are] good follow up, and you were pretty thorough in providing law firms, [as well as] looking through all the law firms that are out and about. [I would rank your firm] at the top. I thought you did a good job. I would recommend you guys.

I think more than anything else, I really appreciated that it was effective. A couple of the factors that I appreciated were the transparent communication was great, being kept up on the status of things. Initial expectation management, a layout of what I could expect in terms of how long it would take for the firms to be responsive and what I might expect when they did respond. Having only done a job search with you guys, I don't know how it would have gone if I hadn't used you guys, but I can affirmatively say that having worked with BCG that it was effective and I didn't have to put active energy into it beyond clicking yes or no to submit to firms, based on the updated links that I was given, so from that aspect it was fairly time effective. A couple of other recruiters reached out to me while I was working with Becca, but also it was a matter of the fact that Becca had a fairly large portfolio of possible client's that she could recommend me to that she had worked with before which was more attractive than the others who would only provide on occasion, smaller firms. Having worked with you guys, I would recommend you to others.

My favorite things about BCG are that they seem to know of every opening and are pretty thorough. Working with you made my job search easier because you guys know all of the openings and all of the firms to contact.I would rank BCG very high among other recruiting companies I have worked with and would recommend you highly to one of my peers.

I can't thank my Chicago recruiter enough for her assistance in my transition. They clearly had information about the firms which was more than that publicly available. It made a difficult process for me considerably less so.
