I hope all is well. I recently secured a position as a legal recruiter and therefore will no longer be looking for a new job. Thank you for helping me look for a job over the last several months and for all of your advice.

I appreciated the streamlined process when my legal placement professional sent me a list of firms fitting my preferences and their open positions, and allowed me to look through them and let her know which I was interested in. My legal placement professional was responsive communicating between the firm and me, gave extra effort finding answers to my questions, and helpful submitting my paperwork. I liked that she's communication style was both professional and personable. The process was quick and didn't take too much time. It seemed like the search covered a lot of firms I was interested in.Q. Where would we rank amongst other recruiting company's you may have used?A. I have otherwise only interacted with recruiters who contacted me in relation to a specific position at one firm. I preferred BCG's approach of showing me a selection of openings to choose from - it was more efficient and allowed me to give input.

Thank you for all of your help with the job hunt, but we can stop the presses--at least for now. Yesterday I accepted a federal clerkship with a district judge for the next 21 months. Hopefully we can work together as my clerkship comes to an end, and the clerkship makes me a bit more marketable. That would be profitable for both of us! My recruiter worked with me for 4 months until I found a new position at a different firm, and she was responsive, helpful, dedicated and wonderful to work with the entire time. She put a lot of thought into finding openings that she thought were suitable for me, helped me prepare for interviews, and was available to speak during evenings and weekends. Due to her previous experience as an attorney, she has deep insight into what employers are looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the market and had a large scope of information on both mid-sized and AmLaw firms. She was great at negotiating the offers that came in with the firm, ultimately to the offer that I accepted. She was able to give me advice on time frames in which to answer firms that did move forward with offers and help navigate that process. She provided excellent service.
