I wanted to take a moment to provide you with a quick update on my end. A couple of weeks ago, I accepted an offer to join the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois as a member of their litigation team in their healthcare and elder law practice group. Brian, you have been the most professional and courteous recruiter I have dealt with, and I look forward to keeping in very close touch.

Thank you for all of your help with the job hunt, but we can stop the presses--at least for now. Yesterday I accepted a federal clerkship with a district judge for the next 21 months. Working with my recruiter was really great because she was easily reachable, and we had very candid and direct conversations about the job market, which was helpful. Working with BCG made my job search easier because I did not have to spend the additional time to coordinate and communicate with employers since lot of it was facilitated through BCG. I really enjoy where I am working. I appreciated my recruiter's professionalism and commitment to making sure her clients were at least satisfied and their concerns were addressed.

I loved the responsiveness of my legal placement professional, and the weekly reports were super helpful, just knowing there was work going on. Also, one thing that was great, was just before the interview checking in with her and having her walk me through the interview (because I haven't interviewed in so long), she was kind of nervous about that process and she made herself available to calm nerves and walk me through everything. This was my first switch since graduating law school and so I just wasn't sure how this worked, but she explained the process and she was very open. She wasn't applying to firms that didn't fit what I wanted and I really appreciated that. She went after the jobs I really wanted and got out to those opportunities for me, so that was very helpful. I have never worked with a recruiter, and I thought that everything went really well. I got a job and so this worked out great.
