What are your projections for the in-house market? Any advice for someone that may have opportunities in- house, in a tech company, corporate and data privacy work? I think in-house is always a little bit risky just because you're not developing a book of business there. So I do believe that the in-house market has been doing fairly well, especially in tech companies.
And I think data privacy is a very good field. The only thing I don't like about in-house jobs is a lot of times it is very hard to hold onto jobs in-house. And then to get new jobs and they tend to prefer people coming directly out of law firms. So I think the law in-house market is going to continue to do well.
I don't see why it wouldn't. And I think working in a tech company, a corporate and data privacy work is a good idea. The problem is that your skill is sustained much fresher in law firms. And because they're having to compete on the open market and then, when you get in-house your skills and get a little rusty.
That's just something that maybe you might think a little bit about if you're making in-house switch.
