"I was asked to interview on very short notice and I don't have time to do extensive research on the firm I'm interviewing for. Can you recommend a few key points that might be most important know about the firm?" Yeah. So when you're interviewing the firm, the most important thing to understand is you want to make it about the work. So you want to understand the type of work they do. The type of people you'd be working with and the type of experience that they have doing work, and really do whatever you can to concentrate on that. The more you're able to talk about the work and ask questions about the work and understand the kind of work that the firm does, the better off you'll be. You don't need to do very extensive research. You need to just understand in general the type of work that the firm is doing. And the more you understand that, the better off you'll be.
