"What are the most common reasons lawyers get fired?"
There's actually a really good article that I wrote about this and I think if you search for that title and then Harrison Barnes, you'll be able to find it. But, let me just say, actually it could probably help you with that. So this article is called "Top 32 Reasons Lawyers Lose Their Job Inside of Law Firms," and so I would review this. The most common reason, I think, that attorneys get fired is just not having high hours. I think that's one of the biggest ones. And the reason for that is hours really will show your ability to get work. You'll have high hours if you're doing good work. You'll have high hours if other attorneys like working with you. You'll have higher hours if you're aggressive in tracking down work. You'll have high hours if you work hard. And if an attorney has very low hours, then that law firm may not be making the money it needs to from that attorney .
So the hours will show your skill as an attorney, how hard you're working. And if you don't have high hours, then that will concern the law firm to some extent. That's how that works.
