And the answer to that is yes. So if that person is at the firm, and told you to apply to a job there, then I would put that down. But again, if the person is an associate or something along those lines, it may not always be a good idea. So I would just think through it carefully. It can be a good idea, but many times it's not. If it's a partner that you've worked with, or something along those lines, then that's good. If it's your career services office, then that's good. If it's a judge, different sorts of people that may have a connection with the firm, it's always a good idea if you mention them.
