The nice thing about being an attorney is you can do lots of different things. I think attorneys can be good at sales. I was talking to her training today that I liked, and I thought that she was almost too happy to be an attorney. I told her she could be in HR or recruiting. This is the kind of job you can do, where you can counsel attorneys.
I've seen attorneys become very good. Sometimes attorneys will go to school and become a therapist or something like that. Attorneys will often go into sales. Some attorneys become writers. I sold the house once to an attorney that wrote this book called Con Air. And he went to my law school.
You can really do all sorts of things with a law degree and attorneys become often do very well and other careers because it's such a competitive profession. So I think the most important thing you can do as an attorney is trying to ask yourself what interests you?
What do you prefer to be doing, or what are the things that interest you the most? And then once you come up with that, you can follow your career path, but attorneys do all sorts of things, and they I've seen attorneys open up ice cream stores.
And it just depends on what your passion is. I saw another [00:01:00] trainer open a bike store. It just depends on what's motivating you, but whatever you do, you should love and you should be interested in and you should feel enthusiastic about it. If you find something like that, then that's always going to be very powerful.
