Do MBAs Give You Better Chances In Getting Hired
[00:00:00] Would you recommend getting an MBA for attorneys to improve their chances getting hired in bigger firms?
So I've seen a lot of attorneys go get MBAs. That's actually a good question. I've seen a lot of attorneys get MBAs, after getting MBAs, they go back to practicing law as corporate attorneys.
I don't know that it helps you get into bigger firms, but most of the time they do get jobs. And I do think law firms like it when the corporate attorneys have MBAs. Having been taken a lot of MBA courses myself. I'm not really sure how much it helps, but the thinking process is very similar to what people do. And most of the time when people do get an MBA, they actually do get better jobs. You would think that it almost looks like going a different career path, but most people that are attorneys, get MBAs.
When they get their jobs. After the MBA, they actually ended up making a lot more money than everyone in the class. And people are always jealous, but which I think is funny,
