Why Solo Practice Won't Keep You From Getting Hired
[00:00:00] I have a degree in chemistry. What type of employers are attracted to solo attorneys?
So you can go back to a law firm from a solo. You just need to have skills. I've seen most of the people that go back to law firms have skills like immigration, trusts and estates and consumer facing practice areas.
And so, that is really the main thing. But yeah, you can definitely enter the practice after having a solo practice and enter a law firm. If you're doing the right kind of work, law firms will always hire you, if you have the experience. So, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. And, it's more difficult to go into a company, especially, if you do a good job as a solo and you're impressing people in the market that you're in or wherever you're in, a lot of those attorneys may hire you in the future.
