Why Law Firms Want People Having Consistency
[00:00:00] What is going to get more attention from a law firm between a two-year period with $1.5 million trial verdict or the same 2-year period with $1.5 million in billing generated from a book of business?
Okay. So yeah, people, like law firms are businesses, and as a business, their big thing is consistency.
They want to bring in people with consistency and inconsistency means that they want to see, that you brought in business over an extended period of time. The best way of looking at it is how much. How much money did you bring the firm?
They're looking at it no differently than, if you were self-employed and trying to get a mortgage, how would how would you evaluate, who would you want to make a loan to?
How much would you loan this person versus how much would you loan this person? This person, obviously looks like they can afford a bigger payment. This person, and you could even say, this is like 1.2 million or 1.8 million or something. You don't know if this is an aberration or what's going on, so that's how law firms look at things too.
