In this webinar, Harrison Barnes discusses that academic accomplishment is certainly important, lawyer's experience is often more valuable in the real world. Lawyers with more experience are better equipped to handle complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice. They also have a better understanding of how the legal system works and how to navigate it successfully.
This is not to say that law school grades and rank are irrelevant. A lawyer's academic record can be an indication of their intelligence and dedication to their profession. However, it is ultimately experience that sets lawyers apart and makes them successful. In many cases, a lawyer's experience will outweigh their academic record.
