A lifestyle firm typically would be a law firm where none of our attorneys bill over 1800 hours.
These days, a lot of them would allow you to work remotely. Often, people will end up at these firms that call themselves lifestyle firms because they'll be made up of other people from big law firms or good law schools. So there are a lot of advantages to being part of a lifestyle firm.
The advantage is often that culture is less competitive. Emphasis is not on money is less on money. One of the things that's interesting about law firms, and I think that this is a very important point, is law firms are all, they're many cultures that make them unique. They are essential for their businesses, and some law firms can maintain that well. They can maintain a culture of being a lifestyle firm. But the problem is as they grow, then they often become much fewer lifestyles.
But I think there are advantages to being part of a lifestyle firm. People are often much happier there.
