Yeah, so there are professional relationships, and there are personal relationships.
In professional relationships, you do not want to talk about certain things. You have to be very careful. In professional relationships, you don't want to talk about your sex life, your psychological issues, your substance abuse, your relationship problems, those sorts of things.
Those need to be kept out of the professional ground, and there are often no guidelines for this. But if you talk about personal things, you must be careful about keeping boundaries between the different types of things you do. So you can do that.
The difference between being professional or your professional persona and your persona, you have to keep that in mind. So yes, you can be emotionally healthy without being vulnerable, but you must be very careful about that.
