I do work with attorneys, but what I would recommend is if someone does want to work with our company, you can put your resume in BCG. No one cares, by the way, at our company. I don't care where you went to law school. I don't care how prestigious your firm is. All I care about is if you're focused on a practice area. I like it if you attended a good law school with a good background, but I care about your focus. So if someone wants to work with our company, I care about their focus.
I know a lot of people want counseling and want to talk to people. I do have this service that I'm coming out called Reverse Recruiting, which needs to be fixed with a recruiter. It's helping a recruiter apply on her own. But I'm helping; I'm working with people on that. Most of the time, when you work with a legal recruiter, the recruiter is trying to sell you whatever will get them a commission. That's, Okay. There's nothing wrong with that. That's just how it works when you go into a car dealership or talk to a real estate salesperson about your house. It's just how the world works. But I think there are better ways for attorneys to get jobs; your best way to get a job is to have access to good information.
Information that's good means information that comes through, that is sorted where we're using data science and looking at what's happened historically. So say our company right now is working with; I'm just giving you a hypothetical number; 10,000 people and all of those 10,000 people are applying to firms all over the country.
We're watching how many types of resumes the firm opens, who interviews who, how often the firm tends to interview, and what seasons they interview. All these different things, factors more than you can imagine, and they're looked at. What types of schools and what types of firms, and what firms hire from what firms? There's so much to this like you wouldn't believe it. It's not something that any human can understand. It's way beyond that. That's if you want to get a job because a lot is happening here.
There's so much going on that one human-to-one recruiter can't understand. We've got a data center, like with a bunch of servers, which are $17,000 a month. This is just computers processing information. So this is what goes into, and these are not humans. I might be smart, but I can't even operate at 5% of the level that using all this information can help. So if you want to work with me, I'm happy to talk to you about your life, goals, and things, and I'd love to do that.
I would recommend reading my blog, http://harrisonbarnes.com . But the big thing that I would recommend is that I firmly believe that if you want to get a job, work directly with me. What you're going to work with is if you want to work with me and have me tell you my opinions about different firms and why they're wrong and what people are saying or why they're good, I can do that.
But I would recommend using this a hundred-plus million dollar investment in our database to go out and let that work for you and sign up on our site and start getting jobs. If you're focused on your practice here, I don't care if you're a drunk driving attorney; I don't care if you're a worker's comp. I don't care if you went to Yale; it doesn't matter. That data will help you more than I could help you. And more than any recruiter could help you. I don't have anything against recruiters, but I do have against the limitations of the human mind.
Come on. It's impossible to tell you what you need. I just can't do the same kind of work. I work with people occasionally, but I believe this business is extended if you understand it far beyond that.
That's how I would help you. I would also recommend watching many of our videos because that'll introduce you to this philosophy in ways. The only benefit of working with this is that I've been doing this for so long and keep investing in the business repeatedly.
Like many people, I'm not happy to just sit around and say, "Oh, I'm a successful recruiter. I make this money, and look at me. No, I sit in an office, and I rarely leave. I spend time with my family, but this is all I do. I keep investing in this because I believe in it and in you. That's my pitch.
