The best way to do that is to get jobs inside law firms. You can get jobs inside of working there, and that's probably the best thing I can recommend is just you can get jobs with paralegals. You can get a job working inside a law firm and then working for an attorney there.
You could find a mentor reasonably quickly; that's a good idea. I know a lot of people. Those who run across them all the time have worked in law firms as secretaries or paralegals and things before going to law school. So I think that could help you quite a bit.
