A lot of people will use different formats to design their resume. Unfortunately, I don't think that works very well. Typically, you don't want to use different creative formats or design elements in a legal resume. It would help if you had to keep things down and make them readable.
The issue with the creative formats and making things look very nice. Is that you need to see that with the best resumes. You typically see that with resumes that could be better, and people put all their effort into making the resume look good. At the same time, the resume only follows some of the best practices I've been discussing today.
What you need to do is concentrate on everything that I talked about today. Still, it's essential to concentrate on the fundamentals before you try to make it do all these infographics and color schemes. It's a turn-off to law firms. Law firms are not designers, and it draws attention away from them.
Thank you. I would be cautious about what may be a challenging resume.
